Bochra Boughzala personal academic website
I am a senior researcher at the Computing Science and Engineering Department (INGI) of the ICTEAM Institute at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. I am currently a member of Cloud and Large-Scale Computing group, led by Prof. Etienne Rivière.
I defended my Ph.D. thesis on enhancing the performance of distributed stream processing with in-network computing, in September 2026 at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, under the supervision of Prof. Boris Koldehofe.
Before transitioning back to academia, I gained about 10 years of experience within R&D and telco industry, working as an experienced researcher at Ericsson Canada and a software developer for data center networking software at a Montreal-based technology company called Kaloom, Inc.
I obtained my M.Sc in Computer Science at Université du Québec à Montréal, in 2013.
